Clients Michelle and Steven were very keen to get their family photographed.
Getting the family all in one spot at the same time proved a little more tricky. Michelle and Steven’s children ranged in age from teenage up to young adult.
At one stage it looked like we were going to do a early morning shoot as social, work commitments, and nice light were only coming together at this time and when I say early we were talking pre 6am!!
I was fine with this time, however I knew that getting teenagers and young adults up, groomed and to a location before 6am could be…. well challenging.
I had a chat to Michelle and Steven about the possibility of shifting the time and location of their session to their family home.
Michelle and Steven were at first concerned about the visual aspect (tidiness) of their home, I reassured them that I would be able to get some wonderful shots in and around the family home without highlighting the “visual aspect” of the family home.
This shoot went really well. It lasted around 2 hours and moved in and around the family home, from lounge room to bedrooms, backyard, front yard everybody was relaxed and comfortable during the process even when it tried to rain( how very Melbourne) and Michelle and Steven are very happy with the individual pieces of final art work that were produced.
