The Balnarring Portrait Project 2016 will be the 4th consecutive year of shooting
Things are set up a little differently this year.
I will be photographing people for this years event, I will also be exhibiting digitally last years shoot as well as 2014 and 2013’s shoot.
This year I will be collaborating with a couple of other artists to make this a destination day event for Balnarring.
We are in the planning stages and the other artists will be announced shortly. I’d just like you to lock this day down in your diary.
We had a awesome turn out last year, lets make it an even bigger turnout this year.
Why am I doing this Photography Project?
As we all move through through time an space I love the idea of capturing and locking down that moment, freezing time, robing time of it’s power. I’m essentially a documentary photographer we all are really with photography so accessible these days.
My goal with this project is for it to move forward inexorably with the march of time, Over the years the stories of the people will change so that in the years to come the whole body of work will tell a larger story.
we all hope to leave some sort of legacy I’d like to think that everyone involved in this project is in the process of leaving a legacy for future generations
