When I contacted Carlo he said Gordo bring your board and skate my ramp. I wish I could, everybody knows I have nothing on the copping… well if you didn’t you do now, anyway enough about me here’s Carlo Cassan
Q: How old are you?
A: 30 years…shit is getting real now
Q: How long have you been skating for?
A: I started 18 years to do downhills with my neighbours and never stopped since then , except a couple of injuries.
Q: Where did you first start skating?
A: I started to skate, let’s say for real, in the main square, Piazza della Vittoria, in my hometown Genoa in Italy. A white marble ledges with some brick quartes in the middle.At the time there were no skatepark close to my except for few mini ramps.
Q: Who has or was the biggest influence on you?
A: In the first years my biggest influence was the older generation that started to take me around with them growing up I started to ride for vans and get to know all the european legends like chriss pfanner and or Alain Goikoetxea that gave me lots of inspiration.
Q: Where’s your favourite spot to skate?
A: Northwest of the state is the best the special place for me is the “la Kantera “ bowl in Bilbao.
Q: Rules to live and skate by?
A: Try your hardest and if doesn’t work try again….. Carlo
