Family Events of course provide you with a great opportunity to photograph all of the family together, lets face it it’s not that often that all family members are together in one place at the same time, Increasingly Daryl Gordon Photography is being contacted to provide professional photography for these sorts of occasions.

Our team of Professional Photographers have many years of experience photographing people and families. They all have a background of working in print media  working for various newspaper organisations around Australia, they bring this level of experience to your family function. They know when to stand back with a long lens and photograph candid moments that are unfolding during the event. They are also able to create the energy when required to bring people together to capture the fun and family connections between people or groups of people.

Having a background in newspaper photography allows our photographers to work within deadlines, we can keep the event moving, working with our clients to help organise those must get family group photos and once again to keep the energy up so that the fun and family connections are captured during these photos

Post Production

:Basic Editing. At events our professional photographers will take a lot of photographs, Part of our job in post production is to work through all of these and delete the images that either don’t quite work or are too similar to other images. No one needs an overwhelming number of images to sort through, so we take care of that for you.

:Individual exposure adjustments. Shooting family events  always has its challenges with mixed lighting sources, shadows or harsh lighting. During post production we take the time and make the effort to balance out exposures by lighting shadow and dimming down highlights.

:Cropping. Images can be cropped creatively to add extra impact. With our trained eye we will select images and perform creative cropping, delivering extra image so that our clients have lots of choices.

:Additional Post Production. When editing images we know that certain images can be brought up to the next level with a little extra processing into black and whites or other techniques that we can use we will pic some images and give them that additional treatment more info about these techniques can be found HERE

Delivery

Daryl Gordon Photography delivers images via Dropbox or google drive with 7 days of the initial shoot

All images are kept on our drop box account free of charge for 12 months. This makes it easy to share image files with third parties or provides added security in case your back-up fails.
