Me and my Tattoo Machine
An old school coil tattoo machine, gifted to me by my mentor, teacher and best mate at the very start of my apprenticeship.
This machine used to scare me to death, in tattooing terms it is a beast! The coils were crafted by master tattooist GI, the frame is from a time when tattoo equipment was not easy to buy.
My mate owned two of these as his first professional machines, as he has recently passed away this is just another level of important to me. The day I mastered this machine my mate tattooed an image of it on my neck.
So there it is; my art reaches my clients through the things I learnt with this machine. Most modern tattoo artists would think it was for digging up the road.
