Daniel Kirk or Kirky as I know him the man behind bowl riders thank you for being a part of this project.
Just before we get started Daryl I just wanted to say what an awesome idea skaters at home project is, we don’t really get to see behind the scene of skaters as we are always out and about when skating with each other. I just want to thank all the people that have backed Bowl Riders Australia over the years, I have stepped back from it all so I can spend some time with my lil man Angus but just to get your readers hyped there is going to be a Bowl Riders Australia Jam at Frankston Big Bowl in October with cash prizes and lots of giveaways so stay tuned for that event . Bowl Riders Australia is coming back bigger and better than before.
Q:How old are you?
A: Few months off Dirty Thirty.
Q:How long have you been skating for?
A: Been skating most of my life I can’t put a number on it but i can let you know I have been around the sun a few times with my Skatie180
Q:Where did you first start skating?
A: As most skaters it will be the driveway with my younger brother Luke but in my early teens it was my backyard Halfpipe that my stepdad had made for us out of metal it was a pig of a halfpipe but that is what really made me want to skate more.
Q:Who has or was the biggest influence on you?
A: The Blank Team they had a rad team and always out to help lil shits like myself to come a better skater and all the old frankston crew had a big influence on me growing up as a teen
Q:Where’s your favourite spot to skate?
A: The Getto Frankston Skate Park vic
Q: Any epic session stories to share?
A: There is so many over the years but the best ones we’re in my old shop Bowl Riders Australia good crew and good times . Big thanks to the boiz that helped me make the shop happen.
Q: Rules to live and skate by?
A: Family first then skate as much as you can course no one else can skate for you and also party hard.
